Amir Muhadith, famously known as Loon, was once a prominent American rapper, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Harlem, New York City. He began his music career in the late 90s, performing as a member of Mase’s Harlem World group before signing with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Records. As a successful rapper and producer, he had achieved great success and was living a life of luxury. However, he felt unfulfilled and turned to Islam for guidance and purpose.

In 2008, he converted to Islam and changed his name to Amir Junaid Muhadith. He performed Hajj and began a new chapter in his life, dedicating himself to his religion. Since then, he has been sharing his experience and knowledge of Islam through his motivational talks and speeches, inspiring others to turn towards the faith and embrace the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

He has travelled around the world, sharing his journey of transformation and the role that Islam played in his life. His talks are known for their inspiring messages and his ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Paid Meals

Amir founded a non-profit organization called Paid Meals in 2018. The organization aims to combat food insecurity in underserved communities across the United States by providing free healthy meals. Loon was inspired to start Paid Meals after witnessing firsthand the impact of poverty and lack of access to nutritious food in his community.

Amir’s dedication to giving back to his community through Paid Meals is a testament to his commitment to making a positive impact on the world.
