Imam Ayman Al-Taher was born in Palestine and raised in the neighbouring country of Jordan.
He pursued an Engineering degree in the USA before moving to Canada where he began studying in the field of Psychology. He earned a degree in Counselling Psychology from Alberta then became a registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Imam Ayman’s love for Da’wah led him to become a Certified Professional Chaplain from the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy in the US and from the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association (CASC).
Apart from working as a Psychotherapist and Chaplain, Imam Ayman’s passion for Dawah has led him to give numerous lectures and workshops on Islam and related matter throughout the Greater Toronto Area. He is currently the Imam of Ibrahim Jami Mosque in Hamilton, ON.
He is currently pursuing his Masters’s Degree in Islamic Studies from the Islamic Open University while working as a Chaplain at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
