Shaykh Alaa Elsayed was born in Egypt and moved to Canada in the 70s. He has served Canadian communities coast-to-coast and now calls Stoney Creek, Ontario home. He most recently served as the Director of Religious Affairs for the ISNA Canada. Shaykh Alaa now spends time at home with his family and teaches occasional courses from time to time.
